Tales Of Impact III

All of 14 months.
Suffered from
Encephalocele
behind the neck.
Child of daily-wage earners.
Could have proven fatal.
Not anymore.

HHF comes in to help those in dire need of medical support and cannot afford a surgery for their dear ones.

A 14-month child had a massive encephalocele behind the neck.

The parents who are daily wage earners, were running from pillar to post for the surgery that would cost them over 3 lacs. We counselled them and took them to #OGH and within 3days the large mass behind the neck was removed in what is called craniotomy, by the neurosurgeon, without having to spend a single rupee. Our volunteers at the govt hospital made their stay comfortable and the child is stable now.
