HHF collaborates with State-run Institute of Mental Health (IMH)

17 patients re joined with families after successful counseling….

A team of trained Psychiatric Social Workers are now part of the Counselling Services at IMH.

HHF has placed (5) such counselors. they will be assisting patients in the  following wards: -De  addiction Center, Discharge Ward (Male and Female),  Clinical Psychology Unit & in  OPD 

The main role of the counselors is the engage with the patients & their families in helping them re-unite. The counselors will also assist in activities like Yoga, physical training, cognitive behavioral skills etc.

The Counselling services operational for over 5 weeks have been formally launched today by Shri. K. Shiva Prasad Superintendent IMH with other officials from IMH and HHF.
