Auto, Cab Drivers, Gig Workers and Senior Residents to get free Cataract Surgeries

HHF, in collaboration with Akbar Multi-Speciality Eye Hospital city’s premier Eye care hospital have come together to offer 50 Free Cataract Surgeries per month for auto, cab drivers and gig workers along with Senior residents from BPL families.

This will translate to 600 Surgeries per year saving about Rs. 90lacs worth of Out of pocket expenses of the patients

Apart from Cataracts patients from weaker sections can get access to an array of eye procedures under state insurance policy (Aarogyasri).
