Praja Darbar

Since its inception in 2007, Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) has been a trusted platform for individuals seeking help with health-related grievances. The Praja Darbar, located at HHF’s head office in Rajendarnagar, welcomes 30-50 patients daily, providing them with much-needed assistance in navigating the healthcare system.

Streamlined Grievance Redressal System

A dedicated team of counsellors manages the front desk, ensuring that each visitor’s concern is recorded and addressed effectively. HHF has adopted a technology-driven approach by utilizing a health app to log grievances, track patient progress, and ensure timely resolution.

Comprehensive Assistance for Patients

HHF’s grievance redressal mechanism goes beyond just recording complaints. The team actively works to:

  • Link patients to public health facilities or partner private hospitals for appropriate medical care.
  • Provide financial assistance for critical medical emergencies, ensuring no patient is denied treatment due to lack of funds.
  • Guide and hand-hold patients through the healthcare process, from diagnosis to treatment completion.
  • Monitor each case closely, conducting follow-ups to ensure patients receive continuous care.

An 18-Year Legacy of Impact

For over 18 years, HHF’s Praja Darbar has remained operational from Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, serving as a lifeline for marginalized patients. To date, over 1 million patients have sought help through this platform, benefiting from HHF’s unwavering commitment to accessible healthcare.

By bridging gaps in the healthcare system, HHF continues to provide timely, effective, and compassionate healthcare solutions, ensuring that every patient—regardless of their background—receives the care they deserve.
