HHF Helpdesk in Government Hospitals: Bridging Healthcare Gaps

Since 2015, HHF has operated Help Desks in 12+ tertiary government hospitals, ensuring that economically weaker patients receive free public healthcare. These desks serve as vital referral pathways from primary to tertiary care, reducing inequity in healthcare access. Acting as the face of large government hospitals, they assist patients in navigating complex medical systems, providing critical support and guidance.

• 15.8K+ patients counseled and linked to government hospitals, saving ₹43.33 Cr in expenses
• 13.63 lakh patients guided, assisted, and navigated
• 936 in-patients supported
• 180 major & general surgeries facilitated
• 45 critical procedures (cardiac, renal, liver) assisted
• 1,078 cancer, TB & HIV patients supported
• 110 chronic kidney disease cases assisted
• 54 ENT surgeries conducted

HHF provides blood transfusions, implants, high-end medicines, lab tests, food, diapers, mobility aids, ambulance services, and intra-hospital referrals for poor patients.
